Securing vendor insurance has become a crucial requirement for many events. To make this process easier, Marketspread has partnered with Insurance Canopy so vendors can quickly and conveniently get coverage.
Now, vendors using the Marketspread platform can apply for insurance policies directly from their dashboard. This includes popular options like FLIP (Food Liability Insurance Program) for food vendors and ACT (Artists, Crafters, and Tradesmen) for artists and makers.
We've taken feedback from our customers to heart and are excited to share that, based on numerous requests, our sales reporting has been enhanced. Market and event organizers can now pinpoint specific groups of vendors mandated to report their sales. These groups can be categorized by vendor type or by simply selecting individual vendors one by one.

To support the broad set of market and event types we added the ability for our users to configure top level sitemaps. These allow you to design a top level map with different areas that you can easily and visually navigate to.

To provide even more flexibility, we've introduced the capability to down-convert Term-based bookings. Have you booked a vendor for a month but now wish to adjust to a weekly arrangement? Our new, innovative Term conversion feature simplifies this process and avoids annoying sets of de-bookings and re-bookings.

Vendor Types are a powerful feature of the Marketspread platform, allowing advanced vendor filtering and a highly customized application experience. Historically, market and event managers were limited to a set of pre-defined vendor types. As a growing number of new types of events started to utilize the platform it became obvious that we needed a more flexible solution.
Vendor Categories help add additional vendor filtering and enhanced reporting. Just like Vendor Types, you are now free to create any set of vendor categories to match the specifics of your market or event.
Tag management has been a focus for us. To help manage tags as scale we recently added the ability to bulk remove tags from your global vendor list. Just select a group of vendors and choose bulk tag remove from bulk actions to choose which tags to bulk remove from the selected vendors.
